CASE STUDY: UNITED CONSULTING

Assisted the Marketing Manager and Sales Director to develop and maintain marketing materials demonstrating the company’s project experience and employee qualifications in the civil engineering industry. This information was used in the preparation and submittal of LOI, RFI, RFP, RFQ, and SOQ responses to public agencies, which was an integral part of the company’s marketing strategy. Also created and provided collateral for company presentations, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Responsible for managing, documenting, and maintaining the database of nearly 100 staff member’s project experiences and qualifications, which was a critical component to certifying the company with local, state, and federal organizations. The database included detailed information for thousands of completed and ongoing civil engineering projects.

  • Key contributor to marketing and sales efforts that led to a 17% increase in revenue in 2017

  • Developed and led nearly 90 LOI proposal submissions to INDOT during employment

  • Developed and led nearly 60 LOI proposal submissions to LPAs during employment

  • Developed and led 23 county bridge inspection and inventory program LOI’s from 2015-2018. This important sales and marketing growth strategy resulted in United providing this service to 42 of 92 Indiana counties

  • Provided branding and marketing support for all special sales projects and initiatives with technical discipline leaders (bridge, road, water, wastewater, construction inspection, etc.)

  • Provided branding and marketing outreach support to clients and partner firms alongside ownership and sales teams
