Project: The Shamrock Series is an annual football game hosted by the University of Notre Dame. In 2014, the event was held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis against Purdue University. This was the first “big” project the university had utilized Sport Graphics services.

Approach: I have been a lifelong Notre Dame fan. When we were approached by Notre Dame officials to create artwork for all citywide opportunity areas and the stadium’s interior and exterior signage for the Shamrock Series, I was very excited to work on the project. Notre Dame’s official apparel supplier, Under Armour, wasn’t able disclose the design of the jerseys so I had to create artwork that was complimentary without seeing the uniforms worn in the game. The graphics ended up being a great compliment to the apparel and the university was thrilled with the end product.
